Have you ever looked at Fairy Bread and thought to yourself, “Hmm, this could be better”? We know, it’s hard to imagine that Bread, Butter and Sprinkles could be better! They’re great together! These Fairy Bread Ideas are a fun way to change it up and help your Party Food stand out!
Here are our Top 5 Fairy Bread Ideas and Variations!
Use Chocolate Sprinkles
Simple, right? Instead of 100’s and 1000’s, use sprinkles with a single colour. You can get single colour packs from your local supermarket. It’s a simple change and kids will love it! This is called hagelslag in the Netherlands!

Create Designs on the Bread
There are packs out there which have individual colours, so you can create great designs! Rainbows are a really popular design, or get super creative and try your favourite Superhero or maybe even a Unicorn!

Use Cookie Cutters
Cookie Cutters can be used to cut out shapes in the bread, or create a guide for fun designs with Sprinkles. For example, place a Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter in the centre of the bread, and add Pink Sprinkles inside it, avoiding the edges!

Fairy Bread Roll-Ups
Cut the crusts off your bread, then add Sprinkles, as per usual. Then roll the bread up tightly to create a little Roll-Up! This also helps to keep the Sprinkles in the bread, instead of on the floor!

Nutella
Oh my goodness. Nutella. How simple! Simply switch the butter for Nutella, or any other favourite spreads, then add the Sprinkles on top! This would go really well with the Chocolate Sprinkles, too!

Something to remember with bread – it dries out really quickly when left on an open platter. Use a Food Dome or even some Cling Wrap or Foil to keep your Fairy Bread tastier and fresher for longer 🙂
